Default 91 Surpass ideal rpm range and breakin question

I just bought my first OS 91 Surpass II non-pumped and was wondering what is the ideal rpm range for this engine?

Also, any advice on the proper breakin procedure. I was going over it in the manual and it seems very similiar to the OS 2 strokes (I own 4 of the 46AX engine, all strong runners). I've heard to to do it like the manual says or run it really really rich for about 20 minutes at full throttle, then start leaning it to 300 - 500 rpm rich of peak.

Thanks

Break in your O.S. Max FS-01 engine per the manual. We normally prop it with an APC 12 x 10 prop and see RPM in the mid-to-high-9,000's. If your engine is running there when it's leaned to just rich of peak, you're OK. Of course, you can't lean it that far until it's had some very-rich running as per the instructions.
