Default OS 120 Surpass II

Hi,

I am trying to determine if I have bought a paperweight with an airplane purchased at a swap meet.....

I have an OS surpass II Pumped. It has the silver pump on the backplate with NO brass screw. It has the carb intake velocity stack.

I believe it has sat for a while. We are getting inconsistent idles, high ends. etc. I read the FAQ, and all the other posts about rejuvenating the diaphram, so I'll run several 16 oz tanks through it and see if that helps.

My questions are:

How much fuel should pump out of the pump if I hit it with a starter, and leave the hose off. Should I see a good solid stream?

Can I take the carb mounted diaphram apart and replace any of the parts there?

If I replace the c13 carb, does that contain the diaphram regulator?

I have emailed support for the manual.

thanks

Bill

When you turn the engine with an electric starter, you should see a good stream of fuel come out of the pump.

The diaphragm in the carb is not available as a separate item, but does come with a C-13 carb body.

An entire carb? I think that is over 100 bucks. Ouch.

thanks
