OS 200 4-stroke
Hi I am in the search for a new engine for my Funtana Pro. I was going to go witha YS 1.60 but recently became aware of a new OS 200 thats in development for F3A. Canyou give me any info regarding availability price is not a concern. thx Dave

Hi! The word from OS Japan is that it will be released in June or July of next year. It is still in the prototype stage and will undergo further refinement and development before it will be released. The prototype will be available for testing to sponsored flyers early next year. So far, only Japanese flyers have been able to test it but indications are it will be a match for the YS160/170DZ.

O.S. has no mention of a larger 2-stroke engine than their 1.60 FX, and nothing larger than the FS-120 in four-strokes. They currently have no 2.00-size engine in their 2005-2006 Catalog. There are always rumors about what's being developed, but we don't actually know what's coming out until O.S. makes an official announcement.
