HELP ME! 1.08 FSR Special exhaust?

I have just bought a 5 year old plane with an OS 1.08 FSR
engine on it. I am assuming engine is just as old. (plane
never flown)

It has an exhaust adapter I have never seen before.

It has the standard adapter fit, but the adapter port looks like
a 7/8 pipe thread.

Has anyone ever seen this, or know what I am talking
about?

Please let me know. I am very confused.

Is this a home made exhaust or did OS have a type of adapter
like this for a special muffler?

Default HELP ME! 1.08 FSR Special exhaust?

We checked O.S. catalogs going back nearly 10 years. We're sorry, but what you describe doesn't sound like anything that's come out of O.S. for the 1.08 FSR engine. It would either be home-made or an aftermarket part.

We're sorry we didn't understand what you were looking for. Your original question mentioned something that had a 7/8" pipe thread.

The "can" muffler for the O.S. Max 1.08 doesn't thread onto anything. It bolts directly to the regular exhaust manifold adaptor.
