OS FX 91 carb swap
 

Hello there.
I have a new in box OSFX91. It's been in my draw since the 91 FX fistst came out.

I have just bought one of the arf dirty birds and have toyed with putting the engine in.

On doing some research I notice all the threads about carb/needle valve issues.
I have the early type of engine with the metal valve housing.
My question is can I just fit a carb with the needle valve at the front and totally dispense with the rear mounted needle valve?
If I can what's the part number?

You will need to measure the intake diameter to see what size carburetor the engine can take. Then, purchase a .91-sized carb with that dimension at the neck of the carb that goes into the engine. O.S. doesn't have a part to fit.
