bubbles in OS 50 sx

HI!!!

I noticed recently that my OS 50 SX is creating bubbles in the line between to needle valve and the carb

the engine is new and I did break-in like the instructions (my 5th OS)

I checked the tank, the line, everithing seems good.

i have read some of the on here have the same problem...do you have a fix for this..?is it a design flaw?

my Idea is to take the back plate and the needle of the OS46fx/ax and put on the 50sx.
is it the same size?

thank u Meeko.

RE: bubbles in OS 50 sx

Bubbles in the fuel line between the needle and the carb on the O.S. Max .50 SX engine is not common. After you check for air leaks, please check to make sure you're not getting air agitated into the fuel tank by the enigne's vibrations. This makes micro-bubbles which collect at the needle until a large one breaks off. Then you see it.

thank u, any way is the back plate and the needle of 46fx will be good for the 50sx?

The rear cover of the O.S. Max .46 FX won't fit onto the .50 SX. The .50 SX is slightly wider than the .46 FX.

I have two .50 SX and both had the same problem: bubbles between needle valve and carb. No bubbles at all were detected between the tank line and the needle valve.
Sent one to OS for warranty repair. When it came back the piston, cylinder liner and both ball bearings were changed at no cost and it runs like magic. No more bubbles...
Warranty is 2 years with invoice...

I also had this problem and was told to replace the O ring on the needle valve which I did but also installed a new O.S. Bubbleless Clunk
Part # 71531000 or LXXF25 from Tower. Problem went away but not sure which solved the problem. The clunk is expensive $14.49.
