old os .90 fs
 

i have an old os 90 fs. its the one with the pushrods in the back of the engine instead of the front like the surpass.

i need an exaughst header and muffler for this thing. but i cant find any parts listing for it anywhere.

i think that it has the same thread in the head as the newer .91 surpass m11x.75 but i am not for certain about this . tower hobbies lists a muffler for the surpass tho i am afraid to buy it not knowing for sure if its the same

so if any one has any info on this please let me know. also if any one has the correct muffler assembly just laying around ill buy it

Parts specific to the old O.S. FS-90 are no longer available. We'd not have them, nor would O.S. The engine's been out of production for too long.

We do have the exhaust pipes for the FT-160, which will fit. They do not have a muffler, though. The part is:

OSMG5756 46169000 EXH PIPE ASSY T120160 $17.99 (Includes the retainer nut)

These parts can be ordered through any hobby retailer who sells O.S. Max engines and accessories.

just wondering tho..... was i right about the thread size? if so why couldnt i use the muffler and pipe from the 91 surpass? tower has it for $36.99

The FS-70 and FS-91 Surpass engines have larger exhaust outlets than does the old FS-90.
