OS Max 40 sr NEED PISTON RING
 

I just broke the piston ring while cleaning my (OS max 40 sr). I can usually get my part numbers from the OS website. But I have a feeling this engine is from the ice age and can't get any info on it.

I would not make a big fuss if this engine wasn't pratically new. The plane was built to display in a sports bar and they left the carb. open for about 12 or more years. Everything is jammed.

Help.

We're sorry, but your engine has been out of production long enough that parts specific to it are no longer available through us or O.S. Max, in Japan. You'll have to check with the hobby retailers who specialize in obtaining old parts for the engine collector market. Check the swap-shop areas here, on RCU, and check the classified ads in the back of the R/C model magazines. We hope you'll be able to locate the part you need.
