O.S. FS-120 III Surpass 4-Stroke with pump "NEED HELP"
 

Hello, guys....
I got a 2months O.S. FS-120 III Surpass 4-Stroke with pump and i have used it with about 6L fuel...
Two days ago i were on the field practicing for my pattering competition (in 8days) and then the engine was PERFECT...
Yesterday i tryed to start the engine at home, just to take a small flight.. but... the engine wouldent start...
When i put a bit of fuel in the cab..... at try to start it the engine runs, but it dies as soon as it used that fuel...

Yes, i checked the tank
Yes, i checked that the fuel tank is full.....
Yes,,, i checked the most things... even changed glow plug and +++

Need help....

Please check your fuel system. It sounds like there's a blockage somewhere so that the engine's just not getting fuel. Also trash could have gotten into the carburetor and regulator. You may have to disassemble the carb to clean it.

If you wish, you can send the engine to your warranty center. If your engine was purchased from a North American retailer, then we can do the service. However, if you send it to us, you will have to properly document that the engine was a U.S.-Purchased engine being returned to the U.S. for repair services. A copy of the original purchase receipt will be needed to provide proof for that documentation. You would also want to make sure that you register it with your country's customs department so that you will not be charged import taxes when the engine is returned to you after repairs.

Is a copy of the order from towerhobbies enought? Or do i have to get something else?
Also, will you or "O.S" cover the shipping fee back?

A Tower Hobbies invoice would do nicely for proof of purchase...both for warranty and U.S. customs. You'd need to just declare on the customs form that the engine was US-purchased and being returned to the US for repair.

We pay shipping back to you on warranty repairs.

Hey Bax.... Got a professional engineer to look on the engine for me for free... He is pretty sure its the "membran" that is dead..... The one on the carb...

Any chance that you can send this part to me? I cant find any parts number or anything...
Its just that... if im gonna send the engine in for service to US i have to pay about 80USD......
And doing that is not really cheap:S

The regulator parts are not sold separately. They are only available through the service center as part of a repair. If you send us the carburetor, we can perform the repairs upon it.

My brother is actually going to Las Vegas in 2days :) If he can take the engine with him to the US and send it from a mail office over there to you...
Will you cover the actually shipping fee to Norway?

For warranty service, we prepay the shipping to the customer, unless premium shipping is desired.
