I have a used 160 with a bcm muffler that was cut off 1 inch. It no longer has bevels. can I rebevel? How big should opening be if I do? I also have a new fx 160 with new bcm muffler. If i cannot get it to adjust to 4 stroke with bcm muffler, can i make bevel smaller to make it work? Thanks kgp1

We're sorry, but we're not at all familiar with the BCM muffler, so we can't give you any advice on it.

If you don't have enough fuel flow to allow the engine to richen, they you may have to block or partially block the exhaust outlets) to get more pressure to the fuel tank.

You may need to re-plumb the entire fuel system for larger tubing to get better fuel flow, too.

I have used 160 in cap 232 with all large fuel line. I have already beveled it to 9/32 in both holes. I am able to run engine in 4 stroke with a 16/10 apc prop. It runs about 8900 rpm. is this ok? with my new bcm muffler, Should I make holes smaller to increase pressure with my new engine?
