Come on Mart - I thought England were suppose to be good at this soccer thing.

I mean I could not name one Aussie player or US player (from any point in time) yet know a half dozen from England.

Watching that call was heartbreaking. Had the right one been made, the outcome could've been much different. BTW, I watched it in French speaking and was having a hard time understanding but some things are quite obvious. Now that USA is out, I'm pulling for the Krauts. If they can do what they did to Argentena, it could be good for us.

Imaging how it felt for us English ,first seeing our inept display to go 2 nil down only to drag ourselves level and it not be given.Who knows it might have changed the outcome as we were getting back into it and had the momentum.Something has to be done to drag football into the modern world, time for goal line technology NOW.
I was happy Holland won last night against Uraguay after they cheated themselves into the semis [:@].If you stop a certain goal with your hand deliberateley it should be an automatic 3 game ban and also a goal should be given there and then.
Come on Spain perform to your best and you can win tonight. If they dont then Germany will smash them as they did us and the Argies.
Mart
ps how are you Jamie we need to catch up,lots of good stuff going on for me right now hope alls well with you and yours mate.

Gotta pull for Germany. They showed a lot in their last game. The refs did a good job as well. Hopefully I'll get to a TV to watch.

Btw, we do need to catch up. I was telling Glenn that I should be in Menwith Hill sometime and will make an extra drive to meet some of you. Just not sure when...

Well i gotta say Spain totally outplayed Germany tonight and deserved to have scored more goals.Should be a great final with a new team been crowned world champions no matter who wins,so good luck to Holland and Spain may the best team win.

Germany didn't look like they even wanted the ball. Defenders standing around and watching the ball bounce right in front of them, passes that were off the foot too quick and no where near on target, turnovers left and right and Ozil (forgive the spelling) looked completely lost. Well, I can't root for Spain, so Go Orange!

They missed Muller and looked shocked as the Spanish ran rings round them, maybe they expected it to be easy and got a shock .Spain still lack a main striker without Torres so unless they address that i feel they will struggle to put chances away as Villa looks lost up front, they need a main striker and Villa back on the left where he looks much better.
