Why do you guys have to look at the keyboard when it comes to typing? I'm guessing you had to learn on your own.
When I was taught in school. They put paper over our hands so we could not see the keyboard.

I actually sit at a computer all day typing on the keyboard. I'm a drafter/detailer for Nucor. I still have to look at my keyboard when i type things but i can actually type things fairly quick. Once in a while I'll challenge myself and try to type without looking down at the keyboard...thank god for spell check and underlined errors

I know I could go faster if I was able to watch my fingers the whole time, nobody ever made me learn how to do it any other way, but I don't even have to look at the screen and there are few mistakes.

you might as well write dutch, i have NO clue what you are talking about, im tired of decoding others sentences because they dont take the time of day to use words like for, the,you,and,because,ready,four,that,know. i dont care THAT much about spelling because im not so good at it either, but you can still make out what im trying to say.
i used to type faster, but the amount i need to type a day is minimum.
