Your first 1:1 car?
In general discussions there was the novel idea of posting "whats your first RC?"
Now i am starting one for 1:1 vehicles, should be fun! Pics if you can find em, etc etc
1992 Eagle Summit. bought it for $100, a $50 combo of rear wheel cylinder and oil pressure send unit and I was good to go for 8 months until the tranny went out, just threw it away then.

Nice! I like the lines of it. Wonder if they make or will make an RC scaler body for it, would look sweet on a crawler chassis!

RE: Your first 1:1 car?
1972 mustang coupe, mild built cleveland and a four speed, my cousin had gathered about 22 mustangs at this point, uncle "made" him sell it to me for $750, unk even let me pick a set mags and tires even though it had the shelby 500 style wheels on it LOL. It might have been a pretty rare car if the truth be told, I have seen dozens of mach 1s in the light green paint color but I have never seen another coupe in this color. 4E bright lime metallic
not the actual car, just the color

I got my first car officially from my brother he got another car and, he passed it on to me. It was an 82 Mercury Capri RS 302 Ttop Gawd it was loud. It had an off road H pipe flowing back to glass packs. Was one fun ride. But, like all cars I really really liked I didn't have it long... I fell asleep behind the wheel, and hammered a concrete guard rail. I had my bro with me he came out with some scratches, and bruising. I messed my shoulder up badly along with my right knee. The pic was taken just days before the wreck.

I had a POS 80's GMC van, the pain was pealing, the upholstery was drooping off the glue that is supposed to hole it up, etc. The only thing good about that van was the engine and tranny, 350/350! The drive train lasted will above 200K miles before we sold it.
Gotta love hoe American engineered engines and transmissions can be driven to hell and back and still run!

yep, co-worker has a 90 chev 1500 its go 325K on original engine and trans, and most suspension parts, boss has a dodge ram as a plow and has 250K on original engine trans and diff. also have a regular oil change guy that comes in with his 270K mile cavelier with the quad 4 original drive line in there too.
my caddy has 150K on it and so does my ma's durango.
people say "oh, imports are alot more durable than american trash" not true numb-nuts, japanese cars can tolerate more lack of maintnence and abuse, but american cars can be just as, if not more durable than imports with proper maintnence, like fluid changes.
