Default My 3 year old's Power Wheels upgrade!

I just removed the little 6v battery from my daughters Power Wheels 4 wheeler and upgraded to lipo! I just souldered up a deans adaptor si it can run on the Lipos from My RCs. here is a vid of her running it on 5s! I think I will stick with 2s-3s for her though!

Castle Creations Mamba Monster Extreme ESC and 1717 motor from the XO-1. Sound about right for a 3 year old?

it would be super easy to convert it to R/c, one big fat servo is all you need

I think I fixed the link to the vid. shouldn't need a password to view it. It shows that I have 42 view on the video and I know I haven't watched it 42 times! So it has to be working for someone. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

I was thinking about that. I would also need a servo to switch the power off and on but it would be very easy to do . It would make a great drifter with the hard plastic wheels! when she drives it on the driveway it kicks out to the side until it gets traction and goes! Fun to watch her on it. She use to get bored with it when it just had the little 6v battery in it. now she gets a big grin on her face and cries when its time to put it away.

funny you mention that its crossed my mind before to go hit up yard sales to get a old power wheels, and make it RC then I thought about where the hell I would store it and reconsidered seeing I can't even find a place to put a 5th scale.

the nice thing is you leave them in the garage or even outside in the rain, everything is protected (just don't store your battery in it)

Still no room I live in the city... We don't get much room at all, and leaving it outside in the yard means it would be gone
