if its a Pontiac Vibe it was built in a collaboration with Toyota. in Japan the car was sold as a Toyota.

Jeez, my kid had me thinking someone did some voodoo putting a Toyota engine in a Pontiac. He's about 6 months into auto work. Took the PA inspection class, he's just starting out.

What the hell is with ebay? I hadnt sold anything in years since they started charging commission on shipping but I had something I want to sell yesterday. Created a listing, going with a 'buy it now' price. Then ebay tells me I have exceeded my $10 limit. $10 limit? I've been on ebay for 22 years, sold items of varied worth during that time including well over $100, and now I can only list one item per month for $10 or less?

Needless to say, I did not create a listing.

ok, rant over.

you could always deal with the tire kickers on facebook marketplace or the mouth breathers on craigslist.

I know. I try to avoid facebook. I've grown to really dislike it. The market place isnt bad I suppose.
I used to love craigslist but somewhere along the line it turned into a signup list for spammers.

a week ago the news was reporting the possibility of .25" of rain. well it's been raining sideways most of today. gutter is over flowing the curb in several places. not complaining, we are still in a pretty serious drought. i also mowed and seeded the back lawn Saturday. and grass seed seems to love rain.
i could do without the wind though...

Cut my grass yesterday, probably/hopefully last time this year. It barely needed it but I wanted to chop up the last few leaves. I have 4 large maples, a couple wild cherry, and a few small trees. Leaf relocation is a pain.

All four. Sometimes it feels like all four in a single week.
Within past week or so we've had 80 degree days and days with high barely 50. No snow yet.

Btw, sold my stuff. Mercari - fees sucked but it went pretty quick. Fair amount of rc items on there. May try them again in future.

Lucky you!
We have a yearly emissions inspection here. Sounds similar. Really just another $40 to shell out.
I noticed photos in this thread missing. I knew some older ones were gone, but the ones from this thread are just from a month ago.

from the time i bought the truck new until this year i was paying an exemption fee cause it was so new (2015) now i have to smog it i think every 2 years.

you may have SMOG testing, but you don't have CARB. no joke, if my truck had a cold air intake on it, it would no doubt still pass a test in the other 49 states. in CA, unless that cold air intake is CARB approved it would fail regardless of what comes out the tail pipe. i have a K&N filter in my stock air box. i had concerns going in.

photo's hosted on photobucked seemed to have stopped working like a week ago. don't know about other hosting sites.

Did mine yesterday - for the second time. Put the old string up a week ago, only to see that a section went out. I'm no rookie, I checked first. They failed sometime during the process of install.

i lived dangerously, put them up then checked to see if they work. if you haven't already, switch to LED strands. been over a decade and haven't had a non working issue with them.
