Default Post Your Desktop

Well, as I don't see one on the first page, and I'm not going past the first page to see if there is already one, post a screenshot of your desktop on here.

Here's mine, I'm a Linux person, this is CentOS 4.2 running the gnome window manager, with GAIM and gDesklets.

Hit the 'Print Screen' Key
Load up MS Paint, or any other image program (I use Irfanview).
Hit control-v (to paste)
Go up to File, chose Save As,
type a file name
in Save as Type: choose jpeg or .jpg

I use my desktop as my work area, it's a dumping ground for things i'm working on, or want available quickly. I honestly believe that's what it's for.

the things i use most are on the toolbar so its not on the desktop and not in the start menu. that way it helps keep things organized.

Easiest way to do it would be to change the files extension from .bpm to .jpg or .jpeg. Windows should automatically convert it to the other file type. You need to have windows setup to show file extensions to do this.

Another easy way to do it is to open the picture in an image editing or veiwing program (IE paint) and save it as a jpeg.
