Default Went on a ride in Glamis

15 of us with 300ex's 450r's 660's and a 750

Had lots of fun

On that last pic i alone went on a ride...about 1 min later after that pic i was on the ground screaming lol

I went down a hill, i was going very fast, but little did i know the hill is cut off about half way down...and from my point of view i could not tell..and next thing i know i'm fying through the air...and i remember while in the air i said oh **** this i gonna hurt...about 15ft high...i tried to get away from atv, but could not...i landed on top of the atv...so much pain i tought my balls exploded. There were some guys on dirtbikes that came helped me out and then my friends arrived...i tried to stand up, but my eyes just went black, then i realized i cant move my right arm...****ing sucked...now i'm one armed

I paid 2500 for it but it didn't look like that when I bought it. I put another 2500 into it. It's race ready. 2 stroke too! I can't find anyone to beat it around here. It is extremely fast and torquey (if thats a word)

Head up to CA. My uncles quad is a lobo 10 (only about 12 made) , roll design everything, it's sick. Also a two-stroke that will kill any banshee.

How fast do the racing quads go? And how much would a good one cost?

Depends which one you get...it really matters how much yor willing to pay.

The higher the price, the bigger the engine, and thus much faster...i rode 90cc, 300cc, 660cc...$2500, $5000, $7000 and between each of them power and speed are like doubled

90cc about 30-40mph, 300cc about 45-60mph, 660 about 80-90mph

Mr. Mugen, if you haven't done it yet, go to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes right on Lake Michigan. I used to have a Berrien Buggies 2-seater that we would take up there a lot. It's only 1,000 acres but still a blast with the big dunes, a drag strip, wooded area with tight twisty turns then you can kick back along the lakeshore. Lots to do in the little town when you're not on the dunes but don't camp at the State campground if you like to party. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends are the busiest, weekdays you almost have the place to yourself. An ORV sticker and a pole with a flag are requirements there as is helmets on ATV's and bikes plus spark arrestors like there's anything there to light up except for the few trees there.

I've been there once with a few friends back in 1998. We took or bikes instead of quads. It was a blast and I do plan to go back sometime. I just bought my kids dirtbikes and the wifey a 250x as well. I always think about our trip and the fun we had. Hopefully the good times will roll again. It's been a while since I got on my CR250. I am trying to put the MX days behind me but it's hard to do. My body quivers thinking about it. Thanks for the revisit to goood memories.
