I heard that a lot of them were recalled due to a thing that would make you crash.

Down in Chicago at Millennium Park, they got all the security personnel riding the Segways. I've never been on one, but it looks like a real cool way to get around.

I would love it. The four wheel design takes care of all of the safety issues of the two wheeler, but still looks like a good time to ride.

Those powerizers are overpriced though...I wish they made them the size of a regular shoe, then I could finally throw it down!

At Epcot (One of the Disney parks) they will let you test drive a Segway for free... They are soooooooo much fun.lol
And the powerisers dont seem like much fun... My brother has a pair and he rarely uses' them.

Yeah, the cheapest I heard (heard now, this is therefore a rumor) is $3000.

I agree with everyone else here. This is an expensive toy and few have the disposable income to buy one. That is why they are not as profilgate as the Segway inventor invisioned. If they were the cost of, say an FG Marder, HPI B5, or similar RC, I would get a Segway over the FG or B5 (sorry, FG & HPI!).

Segway doesnt seem that expensive to me, look at the cost of a mobility scooter. Id honestly rather walk, but thats just me.
