Default Tony Stewart and nascar

I think if he has such a problem with nascar, then he should get out. He has one of the best sponsers, best teams, best cars, one of the largest fan bases, and yet he comlains like a spoiled 8 year old not getting his way.

Instead of 24's monumental 76 wins being headline news, whichmatches earnheart, the front paige on the papers was tony wineing.

Fact is that Tony isn't the only one complaining... Its that he's the only one complaining that the press cares to print about.

If he is saying that nascar is letting any one team or persons win then he should look in the mirror. He won the cup 2 years ago

It would suit me to see him walk away, and take Mikey Waltrip with him....they could....nope, to many younguns here...
Anyway.....LEAVE Tony, go now, do not let the door hit you in the arse!

I guess I don't really think he should hang out in Nascar SCR....., looks like I'm the only one that voted that way though...WHASSUP? You ain't cuttin' Tony no slack in your own poll are you?

I would rather have him just race like he did 3 years ago the nhave him just leave. He is very talented but he needs to realize that not any of us would eaven care if not for nascar.

Tony confuses me. He has his good side where he donates millions of dollars to charities, has several bussinesses including an R/C company but then he can race dirty if he feels like it. The NASCAR racers do need a spokesman like what Dale Earnhardt did. Should he be the one? Not really but who else is there that would step up?

Tony just received a $10,000 fine and probation for refusing to show up at the press breifings after last weeks race.

Not also included, but it seems Tony really slammed NASCAR last Tuesday on his radio show too....the man is his own worst enemy. His fan base is going to start shrinking with antics like he's pulling, he just needs to leave!

Check this out...
"TALLADEGA, Ala. -- Tony Stewart backpedaled from his remarks that likened NASCAR to professional wrestling, acknowledging Friday that he hurt the integrity of the sport."
http://cbs.sportsline.com/autoracing/story/10153197

Keep shooting yourself in the foot Tony....sooner or later your lttle tantrums will get you KICKED OUT of Nascar....or maybe some of your "fellow racers," that ENJOY making a living driving a race car....will, well, let's just say, maybe you won't finish as many races as you're accustomed to.

I say who cares, let him speak his mind, especially if other drivers feel this way and none of them have the balls to speak up. So what? Controversy is good for Nascar...

Tony really does need to leave nascar IMO. He's hurting the sport by being a poor sport. Like somebody else said he certainly has one of the best race teams out there, he has plenty of money, (he has a customizid Lamborghini murcilago). And has won 2 or 3 cups. And so what happens when Jeff is taking the points lead and not him? He whines until he gets his way. (which will never happen)

I just listened to Tony's press conference after he was called on the carpet. I do have to agree with him in a way, sometimes yellows are tossed when they don't have to. One example was recently for a strip of duct tape on the track. It seems that when someone is dominating a race too much a yellow seems to get thrown just to tighten up the pack.
Remember when Junior spun out on purpose to bring out the caution? Drivers throwing out gloves and roll bar padding?
Tony isn't going to hurt the sport, NASCAR has done enough damage on its own.
The race at 'Dega is coming on soon, now we'll sit back and wait for The Big One.

tony taken out after caution and field freeze. Who got into Jamie? cuz he was pushed into stewart. Then gilliland spun stewart for NO reason at all.

Oh yes, and Kyle taken out again, priceless.

Looks like more people hate gordon than stewart, all the crap thrown on the track when he won... reminds me of what, Daytona? That track was littered when he won there lol.

EDIT - Ah i see it now, its Gilliland finishing off his temper tantrum from another race from when he got into tony before.

And you guys wonder why he complains...

tony should just leave, he is just a big baby. this is nothing new in the beginning he when he was a rookie he slammed someone in the wall and there was a big fight. that was back in 98 or 97. i got the pic in my head but dont remember what race that was but anyway he should of been kicked out then.

Tony does seem to have a "selective memory," now doesn't he? Forgetting about the temper tantrums, fights, and "on track" retaliation HE has been guilty of.....
