vista.. what a joke.. im running MY copy of Xp Pro Performance ... ive gone through it lightened it up and made it right.. it doesnt crash EVER and i run some pretty intensive programs..

Vista is a problem for me.. "because im paranoid i guess" the simple fact is that it CHOOSES what programs you can and cant install it reports through 250+ data channels EVERYTHING you do on your pc to god knows where.. and you cannot stop it.. ive had it tell me.. "windows finds this program to be "basically told me i was installing pirated software or using this program to pirate other software" and will not install.....
I BOUGHT IT FROM THE STORE!!! IT WAS A GAME!! .. i mean seriously.. what good is a pc.. if you cant install the software YOU want on YOUR machine..

the machine im on used to be vista.. a full wipe of the main drive.. and a fresh copy of XP and my machine sped up 40% was able to utilize all of its resources.. and hey.. i could even use the printer that was supposed to be vista compatible

my short rant

So at first I didn't like the looks of the Traxxas slash. Kinda ugly. Then I kept looking at pics here, and it grew on me. Started to think it might be kinda neat. Maybe. But then I saw one set up at my LHS yesterday.

I'm back to not liking it. *shrug*

(those are my random thoughts for the day)
My local track has a slash class now.
About 10-12 people to a class, should be very cool.

I admit I dont like the slash, but I like to see people running it box stock for a change.
We have limits on the class however like 2 cell lipo or 6 cell nimh.
You know how that's gonna turn out, everyone will have to go lipo to stay in the lead and have that extra edge.
The rules for the class are simple, you can change the stock servo, and reciever and you can rebuild the shocks to your liking etc...
But mainly the stock parts.

I have been concentrating on modified 2wd truck right now though to even care about the class.
I just hope that will help me drive my big boy cars better, B44 and 501x.
I just watch the slashes crashing...bing...bang...BOOM....lol

The best Windows operating systems are the ones that are made for offices & businesses. I ran Windows 2000 Pro for 7 years without any problems that weren't self induced

I'm waiting for the successor of Windows 2003 for my next operating system, so until then I am stuck with WinXP [:'(]

Trying to figure that out now [&o]

In the past we flew out to the US, rented a car and then made sure we were at the airport in time for the flight back

The last vacation we took started in Chicago IL, Iowa, stayed in Sturgis / Rapid City SD area (after poser-fest) ended up in Billings MT. On the way back we went though North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconson to reach Chicago IL.

FM...

I do have a couple of extra 2.4GHz RX that I can swap in, but I don't think I can put 2.4GHz in every car, that's cost me too much, ha!!

I love the TXT, but it just isn't it, I want one with a tube frame, nitro engine, 4 link suspension (Did I spell that right?), but no cantilevers, or that kinda stuff.

You can ditch the canti, and mount the shocks normally.. TXT does use 4-links..

Yeah, for tube frame, you'd have to get the NewEra frame and bolt the TXT axles / tranny to it.. that's probably the cloest thing you will get!!

I know the TXT uses 4 links, but I did not know that you could mount the shocks where the would normally go. I am going to have to look up that NewEra frame.
