Well on a good note, my matched cells came in today. On a bad note, the engine in the tnx is blown, a piece of wire from the glow plug fell in and locked the engine, ruining the piston and sleeve. I'll look around on ebay and compare prices and If I can convert it to electric for cheaper than I sure will seeing I just got 12 matched cells in I could run 14.4v on a 550 until I get the money to go brushless.

You'd need dual 550 to power a TNX for sure...

Did you run your SS5800 some more today?!

Ya, it would still be cheaper than running those crazy brushless systems. Only problem is they dont sell the tamiya pitch gears in an electric motor pinion, and seeing I already bought a revo slipper assembly planning to convert it to use revo spur gears, I have some parts to convert it to use mod1 pinions. The only problem is noone has told me what size pins I need for the new topshaft, there are 3 pins required to install the revo topshaft, but the diagram does not tell the size and I posted a thread about it on another site but noone has replied.

Nope, havent run it yet today. Was out in the boat all day and it's been raining non-stop.

Mod1 Pitch should run against a Nitro Gearset... Unless Tamiya's got something unusual going on.

I got a bit dizzy but pretty cool. That must take a while on the sim to go inverted for that long no?
Well sort of, once you learn how to control it, it's not so hard. Everything is reversed so it still requires a bit of thinking. The sim does help for sure. It's so light it's all over the place and just a bit of wind makes it worse.
what sim do you use i am thinking of buying one

They do, I compared it to the revo and the two gears do not mesh. I think they use something metric like their electrics. I want to use the revo slipper, I just need the info on the pins.

Well just stuck it to the man (man= College Bookstore).

Anyways i bought my economics book for a whopping 160 and then found it could get a "international edition" for only 68 shipped.... So i had to drop the class reprint my schedule and then get my refund then re add the class. O and the only diff between the books is a diff cover...

w00t

Then on top of that i had this dumb code to get into a website for a college online help thing and the bookstore said they would give me 5 for it and i just sold it for 15.
