Blah! The diameter of the wheel of that old car.
Um...I have a bunch of old cars-real and RC LOL! I'm guessing the M37? M35? Uhh....
We'll leave it at: Damn big.

Well, I finally got back from out of town, and got my Novak SS5800 system from Hunter. Nice man, thanks! Definitely NIB - the thing was still shrink wrapped!

Hunter is a solid seller!

Not sure. I'm thinking the TA-05R, if/when it ever arrives. Either that or the Stampede, but I figure I'll keep the 12T titan in the Pede until it dies, then think about BL for it.

So the TA-05R is not there yet, huh?!

I know that you were looking for a shaft drive TC before.. Ultimate has the Kyosho TC that's shaft drive on the "Special" section.. it is $249 shipped.. pretty good price for a full CF-chassis top of the line TC! Just FYI!

Heh, thanks for that. I will look at it for kicks (what's the name of the model?). But I really wanted a Tamiya kit more than a shaft, so I went with that TA-05R TC. If I were willing to not get Tamiya, I'd have probably went for an HPI or Associated shaft TC (probably better parts support). Or blown a bit more $$ and got that Schumacher Mi3.

Anyway....yeah, the TA-05R is still listed as "on order" on Ultimate's site. My order status is "processing" or something like that. This thing better come through - I'd hate it if it got cancelled (refund to me), but then the TA-05R disappeared from Tower or something and I lose out. [&:]

Max is 24.?? at around 14 amps, and lowest is 3.3 at .21A depending on which 2 output plugs are connected.

I tried to run my Triton off it last night, but I'm having a problem. When I hook it up [12+ and 0 (COM)] the charger doesn't turn on, when I hook it up the opposite way, the charger powers up but then my PS shuts off, must be a protection circuit. The output of 12+ is 12 A. I know that the voltage and A are fine, because the readings from the DVM are fine.

I could build a new one from scratch instead from a computer's PS, but I don't think I can reach the required A. Besides, I need to be able ot bring a charger to Montana tomorrow, but it looks as I won't bring RCs if I can't get this PSU working.

Oh, yeah, I took a piece of sticky rubber and some foam sheet from work, the hole I cut wasn't that sqaure so I used that to mask it LOL. I'm thinking I'll buy a smaller fan to put on the side, as just idling it gets kinda warm in there; I should probabaly do more to the current resistor other than ziptie an old XL-1 heatsink on it...

I hear ya.. can't go wrong w/ a Tamiya!!

Nah, TA-05R is new, so it will be around for awhile.. no worry there! Besides, you can always go for the TA-05MS when it comes out if you didn't get the TA-05R.. hee hee..

Should definitely get a fan for sure!! Power supply like yours w/ a lot of current handling capability will need a fan!!

Has a big fan, barely fits as it is really close to the heatsinks, but I need to find space for another fan.[&:]

I don't like organizing stuff...

Anyway, how's your M35 coming?! How's the lowboy?!
M35 is coming along pretty nicely, but I can't do anything until I get the axle (parts are still out of stock) as I need to get the drivetrain in place so I can cut the cab right. I can't cover te cab in plastic until it's squared and cut...

the 1/25th lowboy is slowly coming along. I've got the gooseneck and the deck finished, but I still need the jeep, dolly, and the rear portion of the lowboy (Which is detachable)

Power Supply Unit, it used to be for a computer but I converted it to use with my battery chargers (Triton2 and Pirahna), but so far it runs everything BUT my chargers![:@]

Yeah Paint, keep me posted on those semi axle parts...

I assume that you'd need a TLT axle for the front, right?!

F350, but I'd like it a little less wide; the TLT would work. I can't get a TLT axle w/o paying $$$ though...

Not like F-350 axle is any cheaper... unless you are stealing it from your F-350..
