RE: the Orange box
Half life is one of only a few games which cannot be played properly on a console. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of the greatest games ever and it plays fine on a console. No comparison whatsoever to a PC though. I'm playing through HL2 again right now (was playing earlier today actually), before I then play episode 1 and episode 2. I bought and finished both the original and HL2 within a week of their relases, so it's been a while. I'm not too interested in portal, and to be honest, I'm not that interested in Team Fortress either with UT3 coming out in a few days.

Portal is very fun and is a nice twist to the usual fps. If you have it you should really give it try. Its not a long game at about 2 hours so even if you get into it it wont take up to much of your UT3 time . As for team fortress well the one thing i really like about it is, its just fun, everything about it is fun. They have found a way to eleiminate the stress and anxiety other online fps give you.
