Man i got home not to long ago and still i got a headace the dam movie, it's one giant home movie!!!!!............the camera is all over the place i saw so many people get up becuase they felt sick it wasnt even funny, the monster sucked, the actors were wack, and in the end i was more clueless about what the hell "cloverfield" was before i sat in the theater

im actually so pist i had to share my thoughts on the movie any one else seen it???? who else felt sick????

Yeah, I heard the same thing. The whole "Shaky camera low budget" thing worked for a couple movies..... but its over done now. Not totally cool anymore.

Ya, thanks for the warning... Thing killed at the box office and I read some good reviews. Good hype I guess. Those kind of movies, e.g. Blair Witch Project made me sick watching in the theater anyways.

the camera made me a little sick towards the end. the movie was awesome. could have done without the shakey camera but the plot was very good. the ending blew chunks. it was retarded. in fact, i dont even think you could call it an ending. you sit there for 1 1/2 hours and there is no point the the entire movie you just watched

I thought it was a great movie! I didn't get dizzy at all. I actually like the whole plot, it was pretty brilliant if you ask me.

Too bad.. That's damn lame that they ddnt explain @ the ending, that blows. Maybe a sequel but then it probably will tank just caz of the first one.... I am legend sucked IMO.. The book was WAY better, no kidding, it was completely different.

Edit: yea I feel your pain miami.. I just watched it yesterday And I also waited until the end of the credits to see if somebody will explain something. But they didn't..[:@] O'well. I think the whole idea of the movie was cool but It would have been better If I knew what happened to the thing..

I dunno.. I want to see it but now they say it sucks big time, just due to the horribly "unfinished" feeling and the shakycam but again I loved blair witch so.. *shrug* We'll see but I don't go to the movie theaters when i have one in my room! :-D

hm, never even saw a preview to cloverfield on tv, weird. This is not on topic, but i thought Superbad sucked too, some parts were funny, but the story line took place in oneday, and i thought it was pretty stupid, the only person who was funny was fogel, and the unrated version didnt have anything different.

Well i found a interesting detail about the movie that at least explained the movie was a alien, if u watch the movie ull see the first thing the monster attacks is the statue of liberty and throught the hole movie there is scenes in the middle of the movie from a clip from a prevouse day basicaly the movie was filmed over a home movie and in that home movie part close to the end of the film ull see the main couple in the movie visting the statue of liberty and if u play close attetion ull actually see the monster fall from the sky in the backround and no one relizes it


i missed it and didnt relize that little detail but a friend of mine say it and told me about it and how everyone in the theater noticed it i just thought id clear that up so atleast we know (kinda sorta) it was an alien

even tho i know atleast know where the hell the moster came from i still think it was a very VERY bad movie

I loved this movie I got it on my Ipod for a car trip and it was great. You see enough of the monster to get a general idea of what it looks like.
