star spangled banner-Darius Rucker. watching nascar right now and he sang the national anthem. i dont know if it was his voice, the fact that he DIDNT butcher the song or if i'm just a big girl but i got a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. i havent come that close to outright balling since i was 10.

the way some of these "singers" sing it, i cant recognize it enough to cry. the original notes are just fine and straying from them should be punished by removal of all vocal cords. try straying from the original music with a voice box. i wish Christina Gaguilera was the worst i've heard.
