Suburban Hooligan you are welcome here in PA - but really I'd suggest just west in Ohio for lower taxes. Just watch out for the contaminated train wreck area.

meanwhile

the Iowa/Missouri/Kansas/Nebraska area is kind of where iv been researching. iv also thought about southern Utah. but who am i kidding i aint leaving any time soon. can't just leave my job. making more than i thought i ever would plus the place literally can't run without me. i work for a small company and there are things i do the boss can't. and training someone to do everything i do would be about a 2 year process if they have a good work ethic (good luck finding that around here)

or maybe ill move under ground

I've been loosely looking for a new place too. Ready for a change. I own my own business, could probably be up and running almost anywhere, not that I want to do that anymore. Like I said, ready for a change.

Don't go underground -
good segue for a tune I really like and this version just screams influence by the late great Bill Withers

Good tune, I remember that one.

I was a few (quite a few) into my Friday night routine, the mellow stuff was hitting the spot.
I have been checking out Ayron Jones lately. Definitely more rocking.

Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith - sure. But Higher Love? And to top it off, it's been stuck in my head now since I read that. Despite trying to drown it out with other music.

Afraid to click the 1st video. Is it a redo of a Frampton Song?
I don't mind Tina but she was played into oblivion for me.

Been trying to play this one on guitar lately

i originally didn't care for Sum 41. i like punk rock, but intentionally avoided as much of the pop punk craze in the early 2000's as i possibly could. the closest i got was just hearing it on the radio, which was background noise in most cases. but iv been going back and listening to some of the early 2000's pop punk lately and some of it isn't bad. Sum 41 actually has some pretty good songs.

today iv been all over the place musically

crap - I was mixing Sum 41 up with Papa Roach. This has been stuck in my head now. Of course it's Papa Roach that I feel meh about.

Sum 41 is alright, not super distinguishable from a few other bands of that era.
I read through the list of tunes you put up and it makes me realize how little music we get here (Pittsburgh). I've only heard of half of those bands. No wonder I'm starved for good, new music.

i actually really liked the Infest album back in high school. after that i only heard the singles that got some radio play. but spent lots of time with Infest blasting while me and friends played 4 player Goldeneye on N64. good times.

My favorite music depends on the present moment and my inner reality, and especially where I want to take my mind
