Pendulum fans?
I recently discovered Pendulum and I LOVE it!! It's like it has elements of all my favourite artists, ranging from classic drum n bass through Prodigy to Nine Inch Nails and various forms of metal, sometimes almost glam.
Absolutely impossible to classify, one of the most original bands I've ever heard. I know they're not new, but I can't believe I never heard of them, so I thought I'd do you all a favour and mention it.
If you want to check out their finest examples first, check out 'Remember me' (Floating Drum n Bassy, my fave), Tarantula (Reggae meets jungle vs Hip Hop, very smooth), Blood Sugar (Drum n Bass meets hard house vs I don't know what, but I like it!).
It's not gonna be for everyone, but for those who like interesting, original music, it'll be great. It also makes FANTASTIC aggressive driving music.
The way I got introduced was by this great video made with Tarantula in the background. Of course it doesn't hurt that it's one of the best fight scenes ever put on film. This song is not representative of their style though, all their tracks are different, except for two repeating themes. Club music with guitar sounds and fast electric rhythms.

PS. If you like Freestylers (I do), then you'll like the collaboration they did with Pendulum called Painkiller.

RE: Pendulum fans?
I'd never heard of them before seeing this thread, but after listening to a few of their albums I think I may be hooked...
A couple of my favourite tracks are Hold Your Colour from from the album of the same name and The Tempest from In Silico. Pure awesome.
