Default Visitors from the Forest

Came home to find a couple visitors. I don't mind them but my girlfriend does, they eat our plants.

Deer are actually rather tame animals when they become accustumed to human interaction, even to the point of domestication.
But that is not necessarily a good thing, as deer moves into the outskirts of a city (provided enogh brush cover and water sources), deer actually become an infestation. I have seen deer infestations such that they are a hazard to traffic, thy come into yards and ruin shrubbery, knock over trash, etc. Sometimes their numbers explode so much that the cities have to take action to get rid of them.

None the less, I find them very intersting animals, how in the true countryside, they are absolutely skittish of people, but in cities where they are accustumed to people, you could literally feed them out of your hands.

There used to be an amusment park around here called Deer Park Fun Land. In addition to rides, there were tame deer all over the place that you could pet and feed by hand.

Actually it's still around, just a million times bigger, owned by Cedar Point, and the deer have been replaced by more and bigger rides.
