Spring is around the corner, you can mow lawns. A 1uarter acre plot can be mowed for about $20 to maybe $35?
Since you are in Texas, the grass should already be growing. Just put like advertising papers up on telephone poles and walk around to expose yourself to the neighbors. Since their grass is growing, they just might take you up on your offer.
Lawnmowers can be had vfor very cheal. You can go to Wallyworld and get a mower for like $99USD. At a Home Depot or Harbor Freight, you can get a weedeater for like $50 USD. That investment will pay itself off after doing like 4 -6 lawns, something very easy to do in one weekend. Then, every weekened thereafter, you can get about $100-200 per weekekend, depending on how many lawns you can line up for yourself.

I also remembered, when I was living in Texas, I think it was legal to get a job at 16. Maybe 15 with parental consent.
Ask you parents to see if they can pick up for you some apps; fast foods like Whitecastle of BurgerKing, McDonalds, TacoBell, etc.

Yard work is always good. Everyone needs it done, it's good exercise, and it's easy. Money can be pretty decent too.

You could also do a Mobil Car Wash,
You goto peoples places of work and wash their car or their home.
=======
You could deliver phone books, around here once or twice a year you can deliever phone books pays like 23cents a book. Once I made 250 bucks in 2 days of deliveries .
=============
You could also do pressure washing,
Rent a pressure washer for a few days after you have some work lined up,
Pressure wash peoples driveways, soffits, eves and more
=========================
You could run errands for older people, like picking up groceries.
====================================
I can think of more

See if neighbors need help with anything, thats where I get most of my "jobs" is doing little things for a neighbor. Maybe if someone has a pet you could walk it, or take care of it.... get creative, sometimes something that doesn't seem to profitable may turn out good [8D]
