Some really cool pictures (if I may say so myself)

Spent a little more time messing with my homemade macro lens, so far it still hasn't cost me a dime but the quality is getting much better.
The first four are of a US $100 bill

These 2 are of a Rustler VXL pinion gear

And last but not least, a body clip from a 1/10 truck

Holy mackeral! That is some serious macro photography there. You know what this means right? You need to start a monthly macro photograph "what is it?' contest. Take a closeup of some RC related thing and then we all guess what it is. You can add clues to keep us on track. Winner gets bragging rights for the month.

I'll take a pic of it when I'm at home, but it's a bunch of lenses I got at a junkyard (not originally designed for camera use) on an adjustable mount I made so I can slide them back and forth. I set the camera to it's own macro mode, and then use it on top of the lens assembly.
It's made out of some medical magnifying lenses, so that's why it gets blurry around the edges of the picture, only the center is really good.
