Not real sure why it's relivent if the new one's liked or not, the change is gonna happen. I'm 100% sure that the change is happening for reasons other than whether a few people being stuck in their ways and not wanting change.
I've said it several time, I liked what I saw of the new software and look forward to the switch. I just hope the admin goes about it with a bit less abruptness. If they'll give us a bit of forewarning I think it will reduce the shock and frustration.

I say "GO" with the new RCU. But of course, lets be sure all the bugs are smashed and it actually runs much mroe faster and efficiently than RCU now.

If we do switch I will actually roll the new software out on a development platform to the users just to play with it, pound on it and try to break it. Also this way you can learn about it and see what features it has. The false launch was riddled with technical issues including a major login issue because I failed to push a critical login file to the live servers. My bad there.
I just added youtube embed videos into posts feature on this forum. We may see if we can add some of the features on the newest forum to this one. My biggest concern on the new forum is performance. I need it to be as fast and compatible as this one is if not faster. If we can't do that we will just develop on this one.
I may also make some subtle face lift changes here and maybe spruce up a few icons. At least this way everyone can adapt to the small changes a bit at a time.

You missed both trials of the new RCU Jim. How'd you manage that? *Facepalm*

I voted that I don't care - even though at the moment I prefer the old one. Since I spend so much time here it'll just take getting used to - I'm sure in a few days I'll be totally accustomed to the new one and won't mind.
