Default ..::OFFICIAL "New Forum" Thread::..

This thread is for posting any questions, comments, problems, and suggestions about the new forum here, as well as a place for the mods/admin to provide use with information about the new forum. This is to prevent clutter in the off-topic section from all of the threads regarding the "new forum."

And for those of you who don't know, the new version of RCU was up for about 5 hours but they went back to the old forum.

I guess I will start with the first question.... What are those reward points things going to be for and how will we get them?

How to get to the new forums?

LOL, yeah, that is a good point, the banner adds do stack up alot in resources, at least on the user end since the 'puter has to load them up.

I know if you upgrade yoru membership, you can turn off the banner adds, but it seems like some adds still persist anyways and continue to spam on my screen.

Just a suggestion: in the new RCU site, make ALL adds go away with a membership upgrade.

No, its free actally. Just go to your "My Account" button on the top of the RCU page, and on your membership level in you account profile, click on "Upgrade Membership Level Now!" and as the French say, "!Voila!"

For the brief moment that I actaually saw it, I liked the new look. I wish I could have seen more, I really only saw a glimps. (Effectively, I didnt even experience the new site because as soon as I tried to hit some of the features and forums to post in, it didnt work.)

None the less, once all the bugs are hammered out, I hope eventually the new look will become the main RCU. I definitely want to see the new features.
I hope on the RCU vid part, we can upload more than 50MB of vids. Unfortunately, I have a couple of vids that are like 90MB (About 3-4min of footage each)

was this related to the renumbering of the pages a week or so ago, then a couple days later the numbers were back to where they were. I noticed it as I am in the middle of reading a couple long (many page) posts and couldn't find my place, then they fixed it and I lost my place again.

This is cool. It's almost useless information, but still pretty neat to look at.

I thought I would have more posts in the ^<v forum game though.

I'm not sure if I like the hide signature buttons. They should be put with the other buttons at the bottom of each post. I don't want the screen to be too cluttered or distracting.

Just leave them in the Forum Settings.
