Default Awesome Burnout !

Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure this is the wrong section of the forum but I could not find a section for automotive related or off topic. But if thisi s the wrong section It would be appreciated if the thread could be directed to the proper section.

Anyways! I created a video of me and my cousins having some fun in an old 1987 Vandura. The video turned out quite well, please check it out if you are into this sort of stuff!

Here is the first video with more burnouts and goodies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rkcgj...eature=related

Here is the 2nd video we did with only one burnout, but it is much better overall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eko8...eature=related

I thought they were some nice smokey burnouts for such an old van. We could have went much longer but didn't want to destroy the tires to much! :P
Feel free to share your opinion in the thread below.

Appreciate all comments!

Just a small town in ontario/windsor area. Not really even a town, just open fields and what not so it's always fun to make video's like this without having to worry!

Is it locked or is it just a posi or limited slip?
if it was truly locked when you went around corners even a 1 mph one tire would spin like crazy.

Don't forget to check the butterfly screws on that 2.5l. My '05 went through some major BS because one came out and went through the head.

FWD = great for the majority, just go and don't worry about it.
AWD = good for some but they turn different so you have to get to know the car a little
RWD = great for people who know how to drive and i don't mean people who can put a car in drive and press the gas. bawwhaha!

Ahh!! are whe going to start the Import vs Domestic war again? I love them all I don't care witch as long is a fast one, but most of this FWD on the track these day are making good numbers, I had a CRX on 10.sec with just a 1.8 engine .

A 10 second CRX? That would need around 500hp. You got a vid? I'm a honda guy and I'd love to see it! RWD>FWD, why are there no FWD race cars outside touring cars (which are based on production cars)? The best part of my day every day is drifting (eh, power oversteer, not really drifting) round the last corner to my house on my drive home from work. Can't do that in a FWD, just can't.

I'd like to see that 10 second honda on a road course against a rwd corvette with less HP and lower power to weight ratio...

"Nop" you won't see it that CRX is disign for Drag Racing only for that Honda have the NSX or the S2000 both rear wheel drive, like I said I'm not a Honda or Ford fan I'm just a car guy.

My point exactly, when earlier I was ragging on FWD cars. Not very good handling. In the ones that I have had they understeer horribly under power compared to my rwd I could get around much quicker.
