I'm from Louisiana, I need not say more. Although we don't care much for the liquid sauce, we do pick them off the bush. Freshness is very important.

SLAYERDUDE
Can I come to dinner at your place?
I love it hot too.
I don't have a favourite known brand of hot sauce but have found many locally produced bottles of hot goodness on my travels over the years.
Wasabi peas is my favourite savoury snack.

I'm not familiar with all of those sauces, but anyone familiar with the Indian curry scale...
Korma - Masala - Tandoori - Madras - Vindaloo - Phal
I like it hot, but not too hot. Madras is as hot as I can take.

SlayerDude, the Tabsco is great on hamburgers, gumboand the sort. It's more of a flavor inhancement than it is a spice. Although it does have a lil kick, it's not much to talk about. Leave a un-open bottle in the cabinet for 2, or 3 years. The sauce will turn a redish brown color from aging and will be much spicerthan if bought and opened in a shorter period. Try it!

The last picture of the last post is just a sampling of some of my favorite rubs.
The last picture in this post is my current favorite. Works brilliant for carne asada and fajitas or even just steaks. A real nice KICK to it.
The cocoa powder is a chili infused cocoa powder. I make hot chocolate with it or add a teaspoon of it into my Chili.

AW hells yea!
You got it goin on Tommygun.[sm=shades_smile.gif]
Is the El Yucateco Jalepeno as tasty as the Habenero?
And what does it go good on?
I know I only like the Habenero on steak burritos and a couple other things, it just don't taste right on most other food for me.
Also to note, the curry powder I use in my tuna casserole is actually a caribbean jerk curry powder.
Ocho Rios hot jerk curry seasoning to be exact. (shhh, still don't tell nobody.)
People look at my tuna casserole funny when they see it's yellowish, but once they taste it...

RE: Do you like it hot?
How cool is this [:-]. Everyone in the family knows my affinity for hot sauces. My sister-in-law got back from London last night and brought this for me. A 4 pack collection of Blaire's Hot Sauces.
Moms Mistake, I need to get myself down to your neck of the woods some day.....most deff.
Slayerdude, it's as tasty but not as hot for sure. More of a vinegar and fresh "green" heat sort of taste. Goes brilliant on chicken, bbq prawns, enchiladas and such.
Foxy, the breadknife and her family is originally from Goa. So I've spent the last 13 years learning REAL Indian cooking. Everytime the m-i-l cooks, I'm in there taking notes. She can make a chicken curry every day of the year, and you'll never eat the same thing twice. If you ever get to check out the "Las Vegas" of the ME (minus the gambling), just holla and I'll sort you out with some proper home cooked curries bro.
We took a family trip last X-mas and NY to Goa for a reunion. I came back with about 40kg of extra weight in masalas (wet & dry), goan sausages, spices, goan vinegar, different rock salts...you name it. Still using the stuff.

RE: Do you like it hot?
hey tommygun did you like the sudden death one? that is pretty good. I have now had hotter but that is pretty much my go to for people who think they like hot - some love it others bash their heads into walls. Overall I am a huge fan of Blair's sauces. Have tried the 3 am and really don't think i need to go hotter than that but am sure i will someday.
I love spicy and hot food. I can handle my own for the most part but have had some bad experiences. I was eating the sudden death, when someone cracked a joke, i laughed and inhaled and all of the hot sauce in my mouth went straight down my wind pipe. I am not sure if I have ever been in more pain than that.
There is a restaurant near me that has hell night [link=http://www.eastcoastgrill.net/main/hellnight.htm]Good times!![/link] I didnt get to make this this past month but am trying to get there the next time.

I'm from Louisiana, I need not say more. Although we don't care much for the liquid sauce, we do pick them off the bush. Freshness is very important.

What? It's all about Red Dot Louisiana Hot Sauce. If its not that, then its not hot sauce. I don't care what kind of contraption you have in your pantry. And no hot sauce belongs in the fridge. Ever.
