I was watching the nascar media day and she seemed like she was soooo cocky........ Ya we understand you won 1 (wow that soooo impressive) IRL race out of the 5 years you were there. Dont come into nascar claiming that your going to run up front the whole time. I thought it was a little ridiculous.

Exactly why do you think there starting here off in the arca series? They want that series to become more popular. Everyone with racing experience (especially IRL) usually jumps strait into nationwide or cup (juan).

Out of 80 something starts in the IRL she has won once..... Thats not that impressive.

i say she did preety daarn good!!!!!!
she was in fifth place right there at the last of the race,then she steped out of line(big mistake!)
not bad for her first arca race!!that ally chick did pretty good today too!!!

No need to be a fan of hers, and I have no opinion either way, but let's be fair.

She has now started 81 races, 1 win, four (4) 2nd or 3rd finishes and another forty-one (41) 4th - 10th finishes. That's 46 out of 81 finishes in the top ten, That's a top ten finish in 57% of the races she has competed in. All that in 4 years.
Oh, and she finished in 6th in her first stock car race which is not too bad.

Personally, I would call that impressive.

It is also especially good for the teams she drives for. Those teams can charge their sponsers more for advertising based on how much/many times their car/logo appears on TV.

I dont care how many wins she has, I dont care about IRL either. I just think it would be funny for win races in NASCAR. The only thing more kick butt would be if a black driver would come in and start winning. The rednecks would go crazy.

She has more seat time in a race car than almost anyone in the arca series. The arca series is for rookies and is composed of mainly rookies. So in my eyes no she didnt do that good......

there have already been black drivers in NASCAR. they have kind of come and gone sense the begening. and in this day and age i doubt anybody would care (accept maybe the blacks) if a tiger moment did happen

I think she did real well concidering it was her 1st stock car race, she made a good comeback after gettin
run thru the grass too!
I like the ARCA seires because its more of your average joe,independant type racers without the
major sponsership.
