Sony Vegas 12 users.... I need help!
 

Does anyone have a fix that WORKS for opening/editing AVI files in Sony Vegas PRO 12 64-bit?
I've tried a number of different packs but nothing seems to work.

Try converting it to another file, and then back to AVI when you are done.

You lose quality converting. I feel for ya dirty but have no solution.

I assume you're trying to open type 1 avi's, you're going to have to convert them before you can import them into vegas. I use [link=http://www.virtualdub.org/]Virtual Dub[/link] in times like this, you can convert without much if at all quality loss.

Yeah looks like I'm gonna have to get a converter.
Was hoping to avoid it.
