YAAAAAA after 4 days without power or TV or internet....I have POWER!!!......I'm glad to come out of the stone age:D

Washington State had a Wind Storm Last Thursday night I just got my power turned back on...............To many trees and the power lines are above ground[&:] over 1,500,000 people were out of power for over 24 hours ...still 500,000 powerless

I love WA. We were up there last Christmas for a week and spent time in Birch Bay, Bellingham, Olympic National Park, Mt. Baker and a couple of trips to Vancouver.

Sounds like the wind really took hold up there!

We were fine, winds were around 60 in this particular part of town, but they went up to 114 mph around the state, alot of people also lost power.

Been there. I went without power for 7 days after a nasty New Years Eve ice storm.
I heard about the person that they found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning, sitting right next to the gas powered generator inside his house! There's a Darwin Award winner!

It's an entire Viet Namese family now, 7 dead under one roof, trying to keep the children warm, and not unerstanding the consequences.....
