GRAN TURISMO 5 NOT COMING 2009!
 

How many of you have heard that their saying it will be another year until now before we will be able to buy GT5! How do you guys feel about this, and is this even true?:eek:

I don't know anything on the date, but I like GT games I've played GT2, GT3, and own GT4 they were always better IMO than Need4speed or alike games. Don't get me wrong need4speed is a fun game (all 30 of them:eek:) but I prefer GT most of the time.[8D]

I hope GT5 will play on the PS2 because I don't see getting a new system anytime soon:(

Well I hate to tell you but they don't plan to due to the fact that its so powerful that the PS2 cannot output that much power that is involved into the game. I have a PS3 40GB why don't you maybe check one out at WalMart or Best Buy, sometimes they have them running for a really good deal.[8D]

Mmm, sad about the delay.

Yeah, there's chance it's coming out on PS2, it's being developed ground up for PS3 hardware.

I wish, but I don't really have money coming in, and I don't play enough to justify the cost of a new system.

This better be a really good game, I hate the fact that I paid 40 bucks for a demo. (Prologue)

What do you have against the Prologue. I thought it was great to add to the free demo you could download. I have been a huge fan of the GT series since it came out. Each one has been better than the last. I do hope they put in some features (license test, 24 hr races, maybe bikes, more rally style) and also add to the features there like a buddy list or something like that for the online + leagues and tourneys. I mean yes you can do a speed trial which is cool but that is not a real test. Also they do need to figure out crashes a little better. I know it is hard online but the penalty does not work. Also many of the kids on there just like to crash other people which also sucks.

(At one time I was pretty decent at the game, I had each of my cars in the top 20 and 4 of them in the Top 5 on each track). I haven't played in a while because I don't want to be bored of it for when the full game is released once that day comes I might be fired from work :)... 27 and still very addicted to video games. HA!

Prologue is pretty cool, but I did beat all three levels in an afternoon. I just hope that they give the people who bought prologue a brake on the cost of the full version or offer the full version as a downloadable upgrade. GTA4 has my attention more lately though[8D].

Hmmm that really sucks. I will probably have a ps3 by the time gt5 comes out. Gt5 is the only reason you will see me with a ps3 .

Yeah thats mainly why I bought mine, but after a while realizing the advantages of not having to pay for online pay every month like my cousin has to, I am glad I bought a PS3 even if I wasn't buying it only for GT5, but I think it would be possible that they might just give you the choice to download the whole version, but I hope when the full version comes out we don't lose all our cars because they are too expensive to buy back.:D

Forza 3 might be out around the same time or sooner. Ouch...

Kind of a bad time for it to come out cause if it is coming in 2010 thats when I graduate highschool and move on to college and I won't have as much time as I would if it came this year.[:@]

Ya I see a thosand post about when is forza 3 coming out over at the forza forums. I have moved on to other racing games even though I still play forza every once in a while. I can't wait for the race pro demo. It comes out this Friday according to n4g.
