Im trying to dececide wheter i want an xbox 360 or slash 4x4 which do you think would be ore fun for 550 dollars

i say get a x-box and a walkera lama-2. the micro helie is very fun, and only runs $100 and takes just a few tries to get the hang of it, and no worries when it gets cold out (Illinois winters are long and brutal)

Well if you want to use something outside the Micros definitely aren't the right choice.

As for your original question, depends how many hours you think you'll use each. You could get an RC and a console with that budget, but that leaves little room for games.

Since people have brought the PS3 in here, I'll throw something in to help.

PS3 > Xbox
PS Network < Xbox Live
PS Network = free
Xbox Live = 8/20/50

Then GT5/G25 wheel or Forza 3/MS wheel (or the Fanatec wheels if you can afford it)

Then use the leftover to build a drifter. But I'm more of an onroad guy, so that's just me.

Eh, I'd say both consoles are great. I own both and use them both equally. Most good games come out for both, and each have great exclusives too. Hardware wise the PS3 is superior if you ask me but the Xbox 360 is great too. If you're a hardcore gamer definitely get both, but if you can only get one compare the exclusive games.

theres a lot of good games coming out for both and i own a xbox360 now but its banned and it needs a new power brick i might jus get a ps3 because i save 40-50 dollars by not buying live and buy a game instead and then use the micro for some  more fun inside.

my xbox died a few weeks ago.

thats a good thing, i've spent alot more time with the family, rc, the dogs and my friends.

i sold off all my games and parts to the xbox.

i think i'll wait for the next gen before i buy qanother system.

i own many and fix and repair game consoles on the weekends when i am not out RC cruising..
there all pretty good (Xbox360(stock,modded and jtagged),PS3 and WII(modded) is my babys...
but this slash 4X4 with a 19t pinion with 2 4500 lipos is a killer ride and well over 45 min runs
I don't get that much with the xcelorin setup in it but it's to fast with that setup....
you can check around and get a 360 and a slash 4x4 off ebay for that price...

resetting a profile is a live thing so can't be done....all you can do is make a new one :)
I don't do them lobbys and none of my modded ones go online....

Xbox has caused me to waste most of my summer vacation without accomplishing a single thing, and half of the time I don't even enjoy it. Too many lifeless trolls on Xbox Live who try to trash talk and act tough behind a TV screen. Get the RC.

PS3 for sure. Get an rc on the side if you want but you cant go wrong with a PS3. People think XBL is better than PSN but its only because they have to pay for XBL, PSN is BETTER than XBL. Its all opinion stuff.

i don't do live that much...mod and repair like a **** but what i do like the best is the offline mode and to be very physical about it,
the WII kicks some ***** when it comes down to it on being physical ...

it's up to the user to stop or do what is necessary to keep all levels of life equal when multi talent comes to front :)
not to travel to the negative side of it, because it won you over :P

not to make 360 sound like a king of them all but watch and see whats stored in the near future,even without online..
and for anyone *****ing about online rates...get over it 20 bucks every 3 months isn't much for fast speeds and less cheating.....(over 180.000 on xbl don't lie)
I pay that just to see the X360 updates from Microsoft....(but that's my thing)
I have re-balled and troubleshot them(over 700 re-balled and over 2000 issued repairs) more than ps3 but ps3 does have it fail rates too so...

only good thing i like about RC is remote and modding them...speed and gears :)

im might get the car cause i just got the wii and i modded it and its so awseome its like unlimited apps and games its freakin heaven but i will know what i want by november because chicago winters are pretty ****d upits so ***n cold and harsh i might just  mostly stay inside all winter.

i just sold a couple and have a couple of jasper X360 ready to go out the door.....
only thing left i need for the RC scales are 1/5 scale plane, boat and bike.
then i am set...lol

Am I the only person saying to go with an rc car? I have a ps3, xbox, and rc cars... I play with rc cars more, I haven't touched the xbox in weeks because forza 3 pisses me off, and I don't have any good games for the ps3.

Sometimes girls come up and say "man, thats pretty fast", or at least it gets their attention. Video games do the exact opposite.
