Default Hey, Ripley! Can you spare a stick of Beemans?

Well, as a matter of fact...
I got a flat tire on my motorcycle last week...I was bringing the wheel from my hangar over at Orange County Airport to Orange County Choppers to be repaired yesterday, and it was so hot, I stopped over in this deli to get a slurpee, and lo and behold...THEY HAD BEEMANS.
I bought out the entire supply....

Do a Google search for Beemans gum and you'll find several sites that sell it online:

ET, funny you mention that. During a bout of insomnia a while back, I found myself watching a TV show that discusses the history of nostalgic foods, candies, beverages, etc. This particular episode profiled Adams gums. According to the show, Cadbury-Adams produces a batch of each Clove, Black Jack, and Beemans gum every couple years, but limits the production and distribution to keep interest high. Apparently, they feel if the gums were widely available, they wouldn't sell as well.

p.s. - I thought you were going to tell us you patched the tire with Beemans--that I'd like to see.

Let me know when you run out, you can buy it here along with "Blackjack" at the local diner. Inflation has hit though, it is .69 cents a pack, Ripley would probably not be giving it away so freely today....
