My beloved friend and companion, a 2 year old tabby named Julia, didn't appear to be feeling well the last day or so, so I took her to the vet tonight. After some quick blood tests, it turns out she was in complete kidney failure. Out of the blue. No options...irreversible. She passed in my arms. To my friend, you shall be missed dearly.

All my sympathies on the loss of Julia... we've had multiple cats over the years, and every time one passes it's a period of sadness.

Maybe the great feline in the sky will send you a new one, or you can visit the local animal shelter and save one.

Yes I have adopted another cat. All of them have been from rescues and shelters. So far the new girl "Allei" seems sweet and is getting used to her new surroundings.

Pets, whether it's a cat, dog or whatever you like becomes part of your family. It's hard to have to put one down or lose one that is part of your household.
