This is AgCat's son. I Knew my father posted on these forums so I thought i would let you guys know. He passed away this morning. We don't know what happened since he was fine yesterday when he babysat his granddaughter. RC flying was truly his passion and even his last day, the last thing he was doing was putting together his newest plane he bought.

I'm not sure how many friends he had here, but for those of you who knew him, he will be missed,

Thank you,
Andrew Breckenridge

Whatever the cause that's a full and happy life till the last day, and from my limited acquaintance with your dad he's the fun type. May he rest in peace.

Well said.

May the rest of us be so lucky (to be spared a long, drawn-out end when our time has come).

Andrew,

It looks like this was the last sentence your Dad posted on the forums we shared with him;

"If I can keep everything running right, I can keep it in the air and land it."

I hope my last words can be half that eloquent and profound.

Take care of the family,

Scott

Andrew and Rogers’ family,

I have known your dad for a year now from the Badius Owners Form. I am quite saddened to hear of his passing. Your dad was a great man and was very inspiring and helpful to me and many, many, others!

We will absolutely miss Roger, but we won’t ever forget our friend!!

If there is anything we (his online friends) can do, please let us know.

Sincere Condolences,

Carl

Andrew,
My name is Lou Marsalis. I'm the guy that your Father built the huge purple glider for.
I am at a loss for words. I thought of your Dad as my brother. I am truly sorry for you and your families loss. If there is anything I or the other friends he had here at RCU can do, just post and we will be there.

Dear Andrew and Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers. I have never met your father in person, but I know he was a great man.
He was an active contributer on our "Badius Owners" thread and has helped many people in the hobby, especially me.
He even built me a custom motor mount for one of my planes. Roger will be greatly missed by ALL and his spirit will continue to shine here on RCU.

May God Bless you and your family in these saddened times.

Andrew,
My name is Brad Mitchell. Rog or as I will rememember him "Sticks", was a fine, fine gentleman. I spoke to him on many of the forums here and on the other sites he frequented.
He was always a joy to speak with and he will sorely be missed. My deepest sympathies go out to your families on your loss. I, as with the others on the "B" group also ask that if you need anything please let me/us know and it will be taken care of.

Sad news indeed. Roger used to post on the Stryker thread and I had several discussions with
him offline regarding building a scale Agcat and, as other tributes indicate, he was always a
gentleman and thrived on helping others into the hobby and to extend their skills. I have recently
been agonizing over getting another model, but with Rogers passing I see one has to grasp the
moment and will fly it in his memory. My condolences to his family at his sudden passing.

RE: AgCat1982

Thank you all for your replies. Ya'lls respones really touched me. He was deffinately the kind of man to lend help where it was needed. He would always give my sister and I what we needed when we needed it regardless of if he had it to give or not. His kids always came first in his life. And also I have seen him as happy as I have when he has been with Ayva (his granddaughter) in a long time. She brightened his world, She has just turned 8 months.

These are going to be some tough times. Just please keep us, especially my Mother, in your prayers. He had no life insurance or savings so we deffinately need a little leadway from the Lord as of now. Just keep us in your prayers.

You guys are great, and apparetly very good friends to my Dad. I also wanted to let you know that in my small town hope, the people that came to visitation back up traffic on the highway. I was absolutely awe struck by the amount of people that showed up. Was hardly any breathing room in the Funeral Home.

Thank you all again for being such good friends.

Andrew,
sorry to hear about your father. I'v only been posting and reading in this forum since last summer
but i did have the opportunity to converse with your dad about an F86 saberJET He has as I saw a pic of it in his gallery. I was inquiring about the brand and where to purchase one and your father was kind enough to email me back with the brand and links to places to purchase it. As everyone else who has come in contact in any way with him my experience was most pleasant and he will be missed. Again sorry for your loss and if theres any thing we can do let us know
Jeff

Your dad and I exchanged a few words in the Stryker thread and he was a very very very nice man. Very helpful with anything and everything and I always frequented his gallery to look at the pics.

You guys are in my prayers!

This is Paula, Roger's wife, I would just like to say thank you to all of you. Roger sincerely enjoyed his chats will all of you. His passion was flying and it hurt me deeply when he could no longer fly, it was like a part of him died at that time. Thanks again for being good friends to my husband.
