Perhaps this has already been addressed but I can't find it. Can the G2 controller be used through the USB interface. If I use my transmitter does it have to be on? I have a Furaba 9C.

Yes you can use the G2 controller for AFP and AFPD!

Your transmitter does not have to be on. However the Interface must be plugged in the USB port.

I have a G2 controller with USB. When I plug it in AFPD does not detect it. Are you sure I can use the G2 controller or do I have to go through the adapter to the G2. This is not possible with the AFPD adapter since it is round not square.

You must still have the AFPD cable plugged in. Wrap it up if your not using it.

I have G2 and AFPD installed. I configure the joystick to be the Aircraft I. However, when I have G2's USB connected while starting AFPD, the whole system lock out and I have to unplug the power to restart the computer. I have patch 1.8.0.15 installed but still can not run AFPD with G2 Controller. The AFPD cable is connected and detected OK. G2 runs fine.

How to get it to work?

System basic:
P4 3G with 1G of memory
ATI 9600SE
