metal clevises for katana
Guys,
I just received the 2 Katana's .46 from my LHS, a yellow one and a white one
I would like to use metal clevises on the rods. Can anyone tell me what size I need to get for the rods??
Are they 4-40 size....2-56 size or???
Thanks sooo much....

If you are going to the store to get the clevises, I would go ahead and pick new rods up as well. The rods in the ARF are metric so unless you solder the clevis on it will not hold from just the threads. That being said, I have been flying the stock hardware for well over a year now with zero problems. Enjoy your Kats! It would be cool to see a piture of them side by side.

Go to the hobby store and get 4-40 rods and clevises and replace what came in the ARF. That was the first thing I did with mine. Easy and cheap to do.

Steve is correct, the ARF hardware is metric. This is pretty much true of every ARF coming from China. Maybe one day we Americans will switch to metric as well??? NaaaaHHHHH! One tip though, make sure you stick with the nylon clevis on the throttle. Never use metal to metal connections.
