I noticed in the other thread you said you're running a 12X6 prop on that engine. I run a 13X6 vess prop on a os55ax with good pull out. I suggest you try another prop say a 14X4 or 6. But if you're really wanting to change, go with the saito 100. IMO

I've flown a couple of the 55sp slabs with the 1.20ax on them and they flew great. It's a good combo. I've run the 1.20ax on a few planes now and it's always been a very reliable powerplant. Break it in on a 16x4 or 16x6 prop and then go to a 17x6 like the APC or XOAR once you've got it dialed in. I run both 17x6 props on my 1.20axs on 15% fuel and it's a hell of a 3D engine. On the 55sp it will give you unlimited vertical and enough power to punch out of anything.
If you'd rather have a 4 stroke, go with the Saito 125.

Ditto on the 1.20AX. Has been a fantastic combo and very reliable. Plus you only need to run 10% fuel versus the higher nitro required for the 4-S engines. Don;t get me wrong, I have a YS 1.10 and Saito 100 I run also but they require more expensive fuel and cost more initially as well. Now that the 1.20AX is out it makes a perfect choice.

well have the saito 100 mounted and ran a tank through it,seems to pull better than the g75 with a 14x4 prop, weather did not go in my favor to test it so looks like it will go up tomarrow.yesterday i had to do a fuse rebuild and fix a wing due to the g75 quitting when i got around 4 feet off the ground, and it went into a stall due to the windy conditions and wammo hit the ground, taking out the fuse where the landing gear goes and the motor mount and the right wing got the outer sleeve for the fube ripped out.got it back together and it still looks good

yes the 14x4 was on the 75.calls for a 13x6,as long as you reduce pitch by 2 you can run 1 inch larger prop so a 14x4 will work well on the 75
