Hi people
I need an opinion about this picture, it is from a 'new' controller i bought from ebay, to me it looks like someone has removed components, the controller doesn't seem to cause any receiver i've tried to work.
Thanks for any help.

The scratches on the board certainly indicate that the unit is not brand new. Sometimes electronic boards are reworked after manufacture to repair or replace faulty components. There are definately some solder rework scorches on some of the component's solder pads. Of course this may have been done before the unit left the factory or in some cases by sub contractors before sale. Personally, if that board
was sold to you as new I would return it and ask for a refund due to the scratches which may be deep enough to break the circuit.
Good Luck

Hi,
It's the 27mhz 3 channel model.
Having had another look at the board there is not a complete circuit, the seller has offered me a refund, which i think i'll have to take but am confused as this has somehow caused the receiver to pop a component, so i will be out of pocket.
Anyone else had this sort of strange problem.
Cheers

Looks like the antenna came loose at one time and the screw dug into the board. I had a look in one of mine. Don't see any more components in it than in yours.
