Default slow stick batteries/hobbyzone

I want to know if you can use hobbyzone aerobird batteries on a slow stick. I have a ics 100 on it. I figure all i have to do is change the connector? I have like 6 batteries for my aerobird. They are 3 8.4v 900mah
and 3 7.2v 900mah ni-hm batteries. wil they kill my Ics 100?

The 8.4v 900s will work fine.

The 7.2v will have a quite bit less power and duration

Clean the Stator every few flights I use a tapered piece of balsa stick dipped in Alcohol.

I insert it through the vent hole onto the stator and rotate the prop a few times .
You will see the black carbon come off. This will extend the motor life a bit I have over 60 flights and still have half the brushes left.
I run TP 2100 8.4v lipos

I use 2 old Aerobird batteries in my Brushless powered Slow Stick. I cut off the shrink wrap, and laid the batteries out flat. That way I can also use them in my Mini-T. They work great!
