Default Choosing a warbird

I am looking for a first electric airplane. I have been flying glo for a few years. I like the WWII planes and would like opinions on a few selected items on the Hobby Lobby web site.

Klein American Beauty P51. http://www.hobby-lobby.com/mustang-arf.htm

Scorpio Zero. http://www.hobby-lobby.com/zero-mitsubishi.htm

Alpha Models Lavochkin LA7. (or any of the other Alpha warbirds) http://www.hobby-lobby.com/la-7.htm

I like the looks of the alpha models a great deal. I like the Rudder on the Scorpio and the Klein. I like the built up construction of the Klein.

Flies really well too. Flies like it was on rails.

I have Alfa's P47 and love it. I'd guess the LA7 would be just as good. I think my next bird will be Alfa's P51.

Any of the Alfa model range. They are the best ARF Foamy elec warbirds around at present.

If their weight is kept down with the use of LiPoly battery packs, they will fly just like a .40 sized, glow powered model and then there is still the option of going Brushless!!!

And the conversion to 4 channel (rudder) operation is quite simple.

Their new FW-190 is superb and their upcoming MIG 15 EDF looks as if it will also be a great model.
