Default Which brushless set up?

I am thinking of buying the Multiplex Minimag as my first aileron plane and would like to use a brushless set up.

What size motor (Kv rating etc) and ECS would I need to give good perfomance? I have noticed that there seem to be some good deals on ebay (typically from the far east), are these suitable and which is best to go for?

Any advice will be most apprecaited.

Thanks..

Default RE: Which brushless set up?

Hi,

Multiplex recommends the Permax BL-X22-18 brushless with a 8 x 3.8SF prop. This is the setup I have on mine and it is great! No mods required to mount this motor.
