Recommendations for BY Flyer/Park Flyer
I'm a very experienced r/c flyer (21+ years) and have been away from the hobby for the last 4+ years. Lately, some buddies have started with small backyard flyers/park flyers. I have been teaching them to fly at the park up the street and now have the bug again (and the kids love them!).
Anyhow, there are literally so many different backyard flyers out there, I just wondered if anyone could recommend one to an experienced flyer. I still have quite a bit of equipment including a couple GWS flight packs (mini rx, mini servos, mini esc.) that I would like to use if possible. I'm looking for something that is fairly small in size (and price) that flies fairly slow and that I could possibly put up in my back yard on calm days.
Thanks.

Since you have the bug, why not get one?

This can be set up to do it all - slow, fast, 3D etc, and very very tough.

RE: Recommendations for BY Flyer/Park Flyer
Stevensaero have three or four little planes that might fit the bill like the lil squirt, diddlerod and diddlebug.

These all use sub-micro servers (5g or less) and really need a 2s LiPo. Pretty hardy, even for balsa - they are always popular at our indoor nights.
Cheers,
Oz.
